Artificial intelligence is not neutral – it is political.
AI does not make objective decisions. It reinforces existing power structures and can reproduce old injustice in new ways. What an AI system learns and how it acts is determined by people – often by a few, often without diversity, and often without critical reflection.
That’s why we need feminist perspectives: to reveal how injustices become embedded in technology – and to create spaces where more just alternatives can emerge.
.In this interactive talk, we will take a critical look at power dynamics in AI. We will explore where injustice begins – and what feminist interventions can look like. Using concrete examples, we will discuss how biases manifest in AI systems and how they can be challenged and transformed.
AI doesn’t just happen. It is made. And we can shape it.
If AI, then: critical. conscious of power. feminist.
