Participate in this fun and interactive science workshop called “Teaching Physics: Hands-On vs. VR” at the Luxembourg Science Center. During the afternoon of 19 August 2025 between 13:00 and 17:00 you can dive into the world of physics through two distinct approaches: explore traditional hands-on experiments as well as cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR). In this activity, you’ll compare these two approaches while exploring the working principles of an electric motor. Experience the strengths and limitations of each method and discover how both offer unique insights into the fundamentals of the universe.

The workshop is available for free in the context of a general admission ticket to the Luxembourg Science Center (0-15€). This workshop is offered in English. It is recommended for people above 12 years of age. More workshops are offered at the Luxembourg Science Center during the summer holidays.
